After watching a bit of Vivianna Does Makeup and her organisation tips for her wardrobe and her makeup collection, I decided to have a mini clear out of my own...but with my nail polishes. So i didn't quite follow her steps but I was as ruthless as I possibly could be.
- Empty- you'll be able to see how much you actually have
- Clean - wherever you store them (even in a drawer) it will get dusty
- Sort - place them into piles (colour, special glitters/nail art stuff, base & top coats)
- Swatch - get your hands on nail wheels and test the polishes (any which are streaky/sticky or separated chuck them asap)
- Give - any that you don't want but are useable check with friends & family to see if they want them or even a charity
